Handheld Learning 2008 - The Handheld Learning Conference is the international signature event for learning using mobile or ubiquitous technologies. Now in its fourth year the event has become the largest of its kind bringing together the world’s leading opinion formers, thought leaders, practitioners, education leaders, developers, policy and decision makers to demonstrate, debate and explore how these technologies can be employed to enable transformational improvements in learning.

MLearn 2008 - The aims of the conference are to bring together the world’s leading mobile learning researchers, developers and activists in an environment that will stimulate dramatically increased deployment of mobile learning and catalyse dramatically enhanced innovation.

Innovate - Journal of Online Education - This journal identifies the expectations, attitudes, and technological fluency of the new generation of learners and examines how educators and educational systems can respond to the challenge and opportunities provided by technologies.

The 9th International Conference on Human Computer Interaction with Mobile Devices and Services - This conference provides a forum for academics and practitioners to discuss the challenges and potential solutions for effective interaction with mobile systems and services.

Mobile Media 2007 Conference - This is an an international conference on social and cultural aspects of mobile phones, convergent media, and wireless technologies.

Scoot

Scoot is a location based game created by Deb Polson and a team of interaction designers. It is an extreme example of a location based game that can be made with the game engine behind the MiLK software. Scoot has successfully been installed and hosted at thirteen sites on four separate occasions in Brisbane and Melbourne.
